Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 September 2026

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you use this website or get in touch with us. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Who we are

Altura Software Design FZ-LLC ("Altura", "we") is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@altura.sh.

What this website collects

This website has no contact forms, no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels, and sets no cookies. We do not collect anything about you directly through it, and there is nothing here for you to consent to.

Personal data reaches us only when you choose to start a conversation, either by booking a call or by emailing us.

Third parties involved when you use this site

Three services are involved in running this website. Each processes a limited amount of data, and each has its own privacy policy.

  • Vercel hosts the site. Its servers record technical request logs, which include IP addresses, as part of delivering and securing the page. This happens for every website you visit anywhere and we do not use these logs to identify you.
  • Cal.com runs our booking page. If you book a call, you give your name, email address and chosen time to Cal.com, and we receive them in order to meet you. We use these details to hold the call and to follow up about your enquiry.
  • DiceBear serves the illustrated avatars shown beside testimonials. Your browser requests these images directly, which means your IP address is visible to that service. The images are generated graphics and contain no data about you.

Email

If you email us, we keep the correspondence so that we can answer you and keep a record of what was agreed. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not send marketing email.

Why we are allowed to process it

Where you contact us about working together, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. Where we are running an active project for you, we rely on performance of that contract. Where we keep records for accounting or tax, we rely on our legal obligations.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once the conversation has clearly ended. Project correspondence and records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as we are required to retain business and tax records.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Data is shared only with the service providers named above, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.

International transfers

We are established outside the European Economic Area, and the services named above may process data outside your country. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, it is done under the safeguards those providers have in place.

Your rights

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@altura.sh and we will answer within one month.

You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather you came to us first so we can put the problem right.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
